Dolphins RB Reggie Bush "Driven To Prove Himself" As An Every-Down Back

Discussion in 'Miami Dolphins' started by BigBlueBruiser, Aug 25, 2011.

  1. According to Jeff Darlington of the Miami Herald, Reggie Bush has appeared driven to prove himself as an every-down back in Dolphins camp. "He's been, literally after practice, spending 45 minutes on his own (doing) different drills to get him to the point where he can handle a bigger workload," Darlington told PFT Live. "Where he can handle upwards of 15 carries per game." Darlington confirms that the Dolphins have offered Bush a feature-back role if he proves himself. "We haven't seen a whole lot from Daniel Thomas," added Darlington. "Daniel Thomas has not proven a thing. I think Daniel still has a ways to go. It looks as if Reggie will be the best guy."

  2. If I too let Kim Kardashian get away......that would drive me to prove myself.

  3. He's the Shawn Bradley of the NFL ..not as in bust but he's always on somebody else's highlight reel...

He'll be a Top-10 back for the first 4-5 weeks of the season, then he'll fade...lol.

I never see Bush as a every down back

One would think that being drafted #2 would be motivation enough to want to prove yourself.

He'll have the drive to prove it and he will for a little while and then he'll start to wear down...

  10. I think Bush can handle 12-14 carries maximum per game without wearing down during the course of the year........

Agree. But do you think the Dolphins will go that route?

  12. Sadly....no.

They'll run him into the ground. Just like in that pic.

I actually want to see him try, not that i think he would succeed but i would not mind seeing him not shy away from contact

^^Exactly, Reggie shy's away from contact like it has the plague. That's one of the biggest issues he has.
