Still competing with Christian Ponder, Vikings quarterback Joe Webb will be the No. 2 quarterback for this week's preseason game against the Cowboys. Ponder was billed as the most pro-ready quarterback in this year's draft. It's a bit of a red flag that he's yet to beat out Webb, who is still in the development stages as an NFL-level quarterback. Donovan McNabb will enjoy plenty of job security entering the season. Source: RotoTimes
Aside from that though Joe has more raw talent, he knows the system better as you said, but I think he's steadily proving himself and I'm rooting for him. Whether it's in Minnesota or somewhere else when his contract is up
Webb and Ponder are on the same page as far as knowing the system, since its completely different from last year. More pro experience, though.
i like webb at WR, the dude plays a physical style when lined up out there. ponder the most pro ready rookie QB? who the heck said that
