The Philadelphia Eagles are releasing cornerback Jorrick Calvin today, according to a league source. Traded to the Eagles last year from the Arizona Cardinals for Charles Scott, Calvin's fate was likely inevitable with the deep numbers at cornerback ahead of him. Because of his speed and return ability, he's expected to draw interest as a free agent. Calvin became the starting kickoff returner for the Eagles when Ellis Hobbs got hurt then Hobbs took over the job again before being placed on injured reserve and Calvin regained the position. Calvin was placed on injured reserve on Dec. 23 last year due to a back injury. Source: Scout.com
