Cowboys To Release FB Chris Grontkowski

    The Dallas Cowboys have informed fullback Chris Gronkowski that he'll be released, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation. He started seven games last season, catching seven passes for 35 yards and one touchdown and rushing for 17 yards. The 6-foot-2, 235-pounder played collegiately at Arizona. Gronkowski is the brother of New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.
