Former Philadelphia Eagles coach Buddy Ryan has cancer again according to his youngest son, Rob Ryan, the Cowboys' first-year defensive coordinator, who told reporters the latest diagnosis came last week. "The cancer is in his glands and has spread to his neck," Rob Ryan said. This is the fourth time Buddy Ryan, 77, has been diagnosed with cancer. "He's beaten it every time," said Rob Ryan, who is optimistic about the prognosis. Buddy Ryan, was a notorious Cowboys adversary when he coached the Philadelphia Eagles from 1986 to 1990. That sucks. As much an butthole as he was(lol), the dude was a good coach. I for one hope for a speedy recovery. Get well soon big guy!
Poor Buddy -- I hope he beats it again. I was once a proud fan of Buddy's Birds and always loved the way he coached the team. Nothing wrong with rewarding guys for making plays. :icon_twisted:
