After a surprise rookie season, the fantasy expectations for running back LaGarrette Blount have been ratcheted up. But Buccaneers general manager Mark Dominik threw some cold water on any thought that the second-year back could carry the load for Tampa Bay this season. Speaking on Pro Football Talk Live, Dominik said he expects Blount to be part of a committee approach to rushing the football. Blount was far and and away the team’s top rusher last season — leading the Bucs in carries (201), yards (1,007) and rushing touchdowns (6). He had limited work in the preseason and was generally unremarkable, but it did nothing to affect his status on the depth chart. Source: NFL.com
by committee, they mean Blount will be the 1st and 2nd down back, but because he can't catch or pick up the blitz, graham will play most third downs.
