Green Bay rookie Randall Cobb tied an NFL record for the longest kickoff return, going 108 yards in the Packers' 42-34 season-opening win over the Saints on Thursday night. On the third-quarter play Cobb was hit around Green Bay's 23-yard line and appeared to be going down, but he kept his balance and took off. Packers WR Jordy Nelson delivered a block on Roman Harper that ensured the touchdown, which put the Pack ahead 35-20. Cobb's return tied the record set in 2007 by the Patriots' Ellis Hobbs, who took a kickoff 108 yards against the Jets.

The best part was that he totally busted that route and ran the wrong one and wound up wide open for Rodgers...lol. When things are going your way, they're going your way!!
