St. Louis Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo confirmed that running back Steven Jackson has a strained quadriceps that will probably keep him out of next Sunday's game against the New York Giants. During Sunday's 31-13 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, Jackson had two carries for 56 yards, including a 47-yard touchdown run on the Rams' first offensive play of the season. Jackson was injured after a nine-yard gain on his second carry, giving way to Cadillac Williams. Source: Mac's Football Blog
And an injury prone RB is the back-up's backup. It's fun to be a Rams fan these last 24 hours :icon_sad:
Well, it didn't seem to make a difference against our defense who was running the ball. They all get 10 yards a carry.
I wouldnt mind seeing him on the side lines for next weeks game. The Giants need all theb reaks they can get this season with alot of guys injured
