Eagles quarterback Michael Vick doesn’t expect his return to Atlanta this weekend to be as emotional as the trip there in 2009. But time will stand still when he bumps into Falcons owner Arthur Blank before the Sunday night game. What Vick the convicted felon learned more than anything during his 18-month stint in the penitentiary for operating a dogfighting ring is who his friends really were. And Blank is among them. “I have unconditional love for Arthur Blank,†Vick said on the Sports Radio 94 WYSP Players Show Monday. “And that will never change. I appreciated playing for the guy,†Vick said. “And I think all of those players in Atlanta know what it’s like to play for an owner who really believes in them and who really wants nothing but the best for them.†Source: Bob Grotz, The Mercury
It'll be his second trip back so of course it'll be less emotional. The monkey has already been lifted.
This is his first time back as a full time player though...I'm pretty sure you are right ronbart. I think the WOW factor could be there for this game...
He wasn't but he was still there. The fans might be more vocal but as far as for him I don't think it'll make a difference.
