NFL Has Fined Packers CB Charles Woodson $10K For A Punch Against Saints

    Charles Woodson has been fined $10,000 by the NFL for throwing a punch in the season opener for the Green Bay Packers last week. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports Woodson was levied for his swing at New Orleans Saints tight end David Thomas. It’s somewhat surprising Woodson wasn’t ejected from the game for the act. Typically, throwing a punch leads to a quick trip to the locker room. Officials did see the play as the Packers were penalized 15 yards for Woodson’s infraction.

    BFD, but I get it. Rules is rules. But, yeah coach Rah calls Winlow Jr. to congratulate him on his son's birth and get $100K and this jackhole throws a punch on the field and gets $10K?

    Players get fined $20,000 for hits during a game, and this guy gets fined half that for a freaking punch? Bullcrap. Should have been way more.

    Not thrown out of the game, no suspension and some slap on the wrist fine for a guy with millions. Yeah, that seems about right Roger. /Sarcasm.
