Quarterback Josh Freeman doesn't believe the Bucs lost their swagger or even that some players, 'blinked,' in Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Detroit Lions as suggested by coach Raheem Morris. In fact, Freeman just thinks too much importance outside of One Buc Place is based on the result of the first regular season game. At any rate, he said the team is not going to panic. "It's kind of a Chicken Little complex," Freeman said. "Lose the first game, the sky's falling, you guys are never going to win again, you can't start, the defense can't do this or can't do that. Within the building, we know what kind of team we are. We know we let one get away this past weekend and we know we can go out and play better football and win games. There's no panic, so to speak, within this building, within our locker room." Source: St. Petersburg Times
You don't panic after 1 game of a season. That's stupid. They played close and lost to team that's probably a little bit better right now. No reason to panic.
Look, if any NFL team is panicking in the first few weeks of the season, they have more problems than the play on the field...
