49ers LB Ahmad Brooks Fined $7,500 For Roughing The Passer Against Seahawks

    Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea.com reports the NFL fined 49ers outside linebacker Ahmad Brooks $7,500 for roughing the passer, according to a league spokesman.

    Brooks was fined for striking Seattle Seahawks quarterback Tarvaris Jackson to the head area in the fourth quarter of the 49ers' 33-17 season-opening victory. Brooks was the only 49ers player to incur a fine in the team's season-opening game.
