The New Orleans Saints host the Chicago Bears at Superdome on Sunday 18/11/11. Kickoff time is 1:00 pm EST Discuss….
I could go either way on this. The Bears looked unbeatable last week, but it's hard to see Brees and the Saints starting 0-2. If Urlacher plays I like the Bears. If he doesn't I'll take the Saints.
Went with my heart in this game and took the Bears. Hopefully the defense doesn't give Drew Brees time to drink a cup of coffee and find an open receiver.
i took the bears with them getting 7 points on my football pool. if the bears win... sean payton better not pull one of these. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_N1OjGhIFc]Dennis Green Flips - YouTube[/ame]
The Saints are beatable. Their defense is hot garbage. The Bears just can't afford to get into a shoot out with them. If the Bears defense holds them to anywhere between 17-20 points, I LOVE Da Bears chances in this game.
That and... -Colston is out, Moore may or may not play. Less weapons for Brees. -The Bears DL should be able to get a solid pass rush especially with Olin (lol) Kreutz at center. -Brees has never beaten the Bears, why start now? :icon_cheesygrin:
Yes, Olin Kreutz is missed in the Bears locker room. Yes, it's going to feel weird to see him play against the Bears. Yes, i'm aware Kreutz has been pushed around by nose tackles the last few years. If I was Kreutz, i'm giving that Saints defense every tip I know about that Bears offense. Colston being out is huge. If Lance Moore doesn't play, that would be their top 2 WRs out? As for Urlacher, i'd love to see him top his performance from last week with a HUGE game this week.
I'm not worried about Olin giving away anything that can't be scouted on game film. I'm assuming Martz is smart enough to account for this and if they need to change anything up in terms of signals or whatever, I think it will be done.
Sadly, the Bears gave up after the Cutler fumble in the 3rd quarter and it was only a 16-13 game at the time.
