Jay Glazer of FOXSports.com reports that Peyton Manning flew to Europe to undergo stem cell surgery to expedite the healing process in his surgically-repaired neck. When Manning was operated on overseas was not disclosed, but Glazer adds that the procedure is not the same embryonic stem cell surgery that is performed in the United States. This procedure, which is not approved in the United States, involved taking Manning's own fat cells and injecting them into the neck with the hope that they would help regenerate the nerves in that area. During Sunday Countdown on ESPN, Chris Mortensen reported that Manning returned to the Colts' headquarters this weekend, but will not attend their home-opener against the Cleveland Browns. I'm sure there's a good reason why he would not be on the sideline, but until I hear what the reason is, why the heck not???
Didn't his older brother have issues with his neck ,thus the reason he didn't play after highschool? As a NFL fan I want him back 100% next season.
