While a CT scan revealed only one fracture to Tony Romo's ribs, the Dallas Cowboys' quarterback also has been diagnosed with a punctured lung. Coach Jason Garrett, who never specifically addressed the lung puncture, said Monday that he did not rule out Romo playing next week against Washington, and sources confirmed that it doesn't change his status for that game. "I would not think there's any reason to think that he won't play Monday," Garrett said. "We're certainly hopeful." The Cowboys sent out a release later Monday that said Romo has evidence of a pneumothorax, which is a collection of air or gas in the space around the lungs. It can be the result of a puncture caused by trauma such as a rib fracture. A source said the puncture was "very small." Source: ESPN.com
Haters will always hate... Wouldn't mind to see Ramiro sit this one out...those rib injuries can get tricky...
It's not punctured but collapsed.... He has a air between his lung and chest cavity... Plus fractured ribs I had that once and it freaking. Hurts... If had a separated shoulder.. Torn acl torn meniscus...none compared with this pain just breathing hurt Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
Not at all. Sarcasm. The critics always question his toughness, his decision making, his leadership...yet the guys out there playing with injuries on a weekly basis...this week with a broken rib.
not sure why someone would question this guy's toughness. i mean christ he dealt with jessica simpson and her father for how long ?
