Texans Work Out Former First-Round Pick DE Vernon Gholston

    The Texans worked out former Jets first-round pick defensive end Vernon Gholston and five other free agents on Tuesday according to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle. Also receiving tryouts were defensive end Keyunta Dawson and linebackers Antwan Applewhite, Alex Hall, David Vobora and Cyril Obiozor.
