The NFL should investigate how injured Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo was medically cleared to play with a fractured rib and punctured lung against San Francisco 49ers Sunday, Boomer Esiason says. "...What the hell are the Cowboys doctors doing? Are you allowed to play with a punctured lung, a collapsed lung, broken ribs? Is that what the NFL is now? Or do we actually care about the players?.."

Shut the hell up. As if players back in his time, and before his time didn't play half dead at certain times. Is this what the NFL Has become? A Bunch of pampered pussies.

Dont' be an idiot, just because stuff was done differently in the past doesn't make it right (and medical research in sport wasn't anywhere near as advanced). If a doctor clears someone to compete in any physical activity whilst suffering with injury to a major organ, they should be struck off.
