Dolphins coach Tony Sparano obviously was pleased back in January when he managed to keep his job, despite owner Stephen Ross' negotiations with Jim Harbaugh. But Ross certainly didn't make Sparano's job any easier in his fourth season. The Dolphins' players watch ESPN and read news on the Internet just like everyone else. They all saw that Ross flew to California to interview Sparano's potential replacement. "It comes across as, 'We couldn't get our guy, so we'll stick with you,' " said former MVP Kurt Warner, now an analyst with NFL Network. "If there were some players that were already questioning him as a coach, now they feel like, 'It's only a matter of time before we get a new guy in here.' " Sure enough, anxiety already has gripped the locker room after two losses to open the season. Source: Palm Beach Post
I was referring to the thread title not you. :) I have no problem with you saying Sparano is terrible. haha
I figured, just wanted to be clear. I honestly want to see Nolan take over the team. He didn't have success with the 49ers, but he also had terrible owners and a crazy GM with a turn table at OC to work with.
I think it's only a matter Of time before Nolan is named interim coach. I don't think he'll get the permanent gig though...
