The Saints placed K Garrett Hartley on injured reserve on Tuesday due to hip flexor injury. Hartley was injured during the team's third preseason game and had been ruled inactive in all three games thus far in the season. Apperantly the Saints didn't feel like waiting for Hartley and ultimately ended his season by placing him on IR Tuesday. Part of the reason for the decision is likely the play of John Kasay, who is a perfect 6 for 6 in field-goal attempts thus far with a long of 53 yards. Source: CBS Sports
