49ers To Start RB Kendall Hunter Over RB Frank Gore Vs. Eagles

    49ers RB Frank Gore (ankle) is active for Week 4 at Philadelphia, but Kendall Hunter will get the start at running back for San Francisco. The reports early in the week were that Gore and Hunter were going to split carries Week 4, whether or not Gore was active. It seems he is good enough to play, but maybe not 100 percent. It seems Hunter is going to be in the mix for carries Week 4.
