On Sunday, Cowboys QB Tony Romo completed 34 of 47 passes for 331 yards and three touchdowns, but his three interceptions directly contributed to the biggest collapse in team history. “He’s a competitor,†tight end Jason Witten said. “He’s a tough player. We’ve been down this road a lot with him this year, but I wouldn’t trade him for anybody in the world. I really wouldn’t. He’ll bounce back. …We believe in him. He’s our guy, and we’ll fight through it just like what we saw in New York. We just need to eliminate this rollercoaster of a ride, and that’s the next step for us.†Cowboys' defenders were on the field for only 2:30 in the third quarter. Yet, the Lions outscored them 14-10 in the quarter with two interceptions returned for touchdowns. "If you ask me, I’ll ride with Romo any day of the week," Cowboys cornerback Terence Newman said. "Because I know he’ll have my back, I’ve got his back." Source: Star-Telegram
Anyone see the replay of Romo shrugging Jerrah off on the sideline late in the game? Freaking beautiful.
I'd hope they wouldn't give up on a guy who's job is to get a lead, not keep throwing after he's got a huge lead. Loss = Offensive playcalling. Trust in your defense that held Detroit to 3 points in the first half. Ridiculous.
It was there but 14 points were defensive points.. Dallas D can't do much about that Sent from my HTC EVO using Tapatalk
