Madonna Reportedly Set To Perform At Super Bowl XLVI Halftime Show

According to SBNation.com, it's reportedly another '80s and '90s pop queen -- Madonna -- who will get the nod to sing and dance in '12 at halftime of Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis' Lucas Oil Stadium. The Material Girl will be the follow up to Fergie, who performed as part of the Black Eyed Peas in Super Bowl XLV at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Consider that when comparing her career to Madonna's, Jackson has been far less controversial outside of her revealing too much in a Super Bowl XXXVIII show with Justin Timberlake. Madonna has been never one to shy away from controversy, as she has used her concert tours, music videos, movies and books to push the envelope. So it's interesting the NFL would be OK with the star of "Truth or Dare," "Justify My Love," "Body of Evidence" and the author of "s*x" representing its brand in the biggest brand.

I'm not a fan of Madonna's but I haven't really watched a half-time Super Bowl show except for Princes' in years, that's when ya munch out, use the bathroom or actually converse with others until the 3rd quarter starts...oh and the sound is turned down...

I havent watched a halftime show since I can remember. Theyve all sucked. Apparently this year is going to be the same thing.

What was that now? Like 8 years ago or something? Since then we've been doomed to old bastards and crapty studio bands.

Yea I load up on food and catch up with people around. But crap, if they had a decent halftime show I'd watch it.

I usually watch the halftime show just to see what they pull, but this pretty much lets Prince know that he gets another year of having the best Super Bowl performance ever.

I don't care what the heck he brings. I don't want him anyone near a football stadium.

NFL is trying so hard to make everyone forget about the Janet Jackson "malfunction". Prince and Bruce Springstein were the only two that were worth a damn in the last 8 years.

I honestly want to see OutKast perform at the Super Bowl sometime in my life

I have to agree outkast would be great. Or someone under the age of 60 would be good.

    LET'S GO 9ERS!!!
