The pressure is mounting on Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid after his team has dropped to 1-4 following a mistake filled 31-24 loss to the Buffalo Bills according to Tim McManus of Phillysportsdaily.com. His Eagles have played sloppy, undisciplined and sometimes uninspired. They have been accused by an opposing player of quitting, of being beaten into submission. It has not looked like your normal Andy Reid-led team. It has not looked like a well-coached football team. “I’m No. 1, there’s nobody to blame but me. That’s how I look at it,“ said Reid. “I start with me and I take full responsibility for it. It’s my football team,†said Reid. “All I’m concerned about is that next game, man. That’s all I care about,†said Reid. “That’s the only thing that I can control is getting this football team better, getting myself better and getting the coaches better. That’s all I care about.†“In the National Football League your job is on the line every week, man,†Reid replied.

And I repeat a question asked yesterday. Who could do anything with this team that isn't Big Red? No way he gets canned until this turns into MULTIPLE seasons. But he needs to make changes starting with Vince Young. That guy is a locker room cancer. ;) But seriously, how about a Defensive Coordinator that KNOWS Defense?

^ Agreed. But you have to ask who can get a team with this much talent, and not raw talent, straight up talent, people who have proven they can play and play with the best of them in the NFL and fall short of the Super Bowl, not just the Super Bowl but possibly even the playoffs at this point.

Again, who do you bring in? Cowher isn't coming here. Gruden isn't coming here. Dungy isn't coming here. Do we promote Marty "I choose to kick in OT" Moronwig? He's made to be an OC. But a HC, nope. Jeffery Lurie is an Andu Reid guy. Unless he can get someone in here to win with this team, Reid doesn't go anywhere.

I think 11-5 wins the division. So, the Eagles could lose one more game. It better not be the one on Sunday against the Skins in Landover. Division games are HUGE.

You think the Eagles have the potential to go 10-1?

    Why not?

In their last 13 games, the Lions have gone 13-0.

It's the NFL. Anything can happen.

I think Fisher would be a logical choice. As for VY, he isn't even the best back up on the team so you can cut his homo thug butt.

Vince Young will not be an Eagle after this season. To be honest I'd be shocked if he was an Eagle at the end of this season. I'd trade him to someone for some footballs or a gatorade cooler at this point. Jeff Fisher is out there sure. Why not? But unless you have him in pocket or an elite HC, you don't fire Andy Reid. As far as going 10-1, I wouldn't be shocked. They have all the potential and talent in the world. If it all starts clicking this team could become REAL dangerous REAL fast.

He's right. Castillo will be looked at as the reason we stunk and will get crapcanned and Reid will get one more try.

I'm just ready to go in a different direction. I credit Andy for his years of service and we had some good years, but he is getting his butt kicked without JJ around and unless he hires a top notch DC, he isn't going to get anywhere near the ultimate goal.
