The 49ers definitely took care of business at home Sunday against the Buccaneers, winning big 48-3, but amidst that and their 4-1 record, they lost a big piece of their offense in the fourth quarter when wide receiver Joshua Morgan suffered a broken right lower leg on a 19-yard pass play from quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Morgan underwent season-ending surgery on that leg on Monday. “I just feel sick for him [Joshua Morgan] and for our team,†said head coach Jim Harbaugh. “There’s nobody you can afford to lose when you have a 53-man roster, 46-roster on game day. Especially him, Josh was really playing well. Feel bad for him; feel bad for us because that’s a tough loss for us.†Source: Football News Now
