Ravens C Matt Birk Fined $5K For Not Wearing A Microphone

    Adam Caplan of thesidelineview.com reports Baltimore Ravens starting C Matt Birk has been fined $5,000 for not wearing a microphone for a recent game, Birk’s agent, Joe Linta, told thesidelineview.com. Birk was notified by the NFL of the fine on Monday. Linta said Birk couldn’t get the microphone to work in a satisfactory manner. As part of the new CBA, each team will have a microphone placed in the pads of one or two interior offensive

    I think whoever has it on from now on should just curse into it every single chance they get and say random butt crap. Just a whole lot of "heck, crap, c**k, balls, cat, dog rod, butthole, p**is" right into it...


    But seriously, why do linemen have mics on? WR's and QB's I can see, but the guys who have CONSTANT contact?

    Probably to monitor defenses simulating the snap count.

    That said, what's he supposed to do? "Sorry coach, I'm going to have to miss the first quarter. Can't quite figure this microphone out."
