  1. Mike Freeman of CBS Sports reports that the Bengals are softening their position on refusing to trade quarterback Carson Palmer. According to Freeman, teams that have inquired fairly recently saying they are no longer getting a flat-out no. They're getting: for the moment, we're not trading him.

Ok Dolphins. Just ante up and make them an offer they can't refuse.

Would be good to see Palmer get a 2nd go around somewhere. Miami seems like a good situation too.

F'n Godell should be calling the Bengals demanding they let a quality player play somewhere. It is in the best interests of the league as a whole to have Palmer playing rather than sitting in some WWE-like storyline.

Not a suprise to me at all. Palmer still wants to play football, just not in Cincinnati.

I wish we really knew what the Bengels thought process is here... I mean they have a guy who won't play for them.. would rather not play at all. So to the bengals he is worthless... Unless they trade him and get some draft pics or something.

Are they waiting until after the draft order gets set, because they think the team that doesn't get Luck will pay more... Just doesn't make sense. to me.
