Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall admitted Thursday that he’s having an “average†season by his standards and that his offseason goal of trying to control his emotions has backfired on the football field after revealing in August that he is battling Borderline Personality Disorder, which is characterized by unusual mood swings. “I’ve been living in a bubble a little bit trying to control myself instead of being me,†Marshall said. The answer, Marshall said, is simple: It’s time to unleash his inner beast again, starting this Monday against the Jets on national television. "Hey man, I’m just going to let it out. I don’t care if they have two or three cameras on me. I don’t care if I have penalties, it doesn’t matter. I’m going to let it all out,†Marshall said. “I don’t know if it’s throwing a football 15 yards in the bleachers and getting a 15-yard (penalty) or punting the ball and getting thrown out of the game, something’s going to happen. I’ll probably get kicked out after the second quarter. I’m going to have fun on Monday Night Football, that’s all I can say.†In fact, the more Marshall talked about it, the more he liked the idea of playing with “passion†and “aggression†and ultimately getting ejected in the first half of Monday’s game. Marshall mentioned it three times in an 11-minute interview. “My goal is to get thrown out midway through the second quarter. Hopefully I achieve that,†he said. “Whatever it takes, that’s what I need to get the season going. ...No, I’m not joking. I’m serious. They’re going to fine me—probably going to be like a $50,000 fine. That quarter-and-a-half I’m out there, I’m going to play like a monster. I might get in a fight with Bart Scott, (Antonio) Cromartie—we used to fight in Denver and San Diego. If that happens, that happens, so we’ll see.†Source: Sporting News
He may be heading into dangerous mental territory to say something like this. They should have a professional talk to him before he causes bigger problems for himself.
that would be the way to go. line up for the kickoff and when it gets kicked run over and punch Ryan in his gut and run off the field to the locker room in one move.
We shall see. I am with you on the all talk crap. Maybe he will come up with an "injury" and leave that way. If he does get thrown out he should be cut immediately. Hey Brandon
