If the Eagles lose Sunday, their season of high hopes will effectively end before it reaches the halfway point as no 1-5 team has made the playoffs since the NFL went to its current postseason format in 1990. If the Eagles fall again Sunday, the simmering criticism directed at coach Andy Reid will reach full boil. If hope for the season fades, what will remain is an assessment of where it went wrong, and after two years of franchise remodeling, a heavy dose of blame will fall on Reid's shoulders, because his vision has shaped and reshaped the Eagles into what they are today.

If the Eagles lose today then heads will roll in Philly. The Redskins are tough this year, this will be a hard fought game.

Even if the Eagles lose they won't make the playoffs this year and Reid will have to answer for that. I don't think Andy will be a coach in Philly for very much longer.
