Broncos receiver Brandon Lloyd was told he did not have to report to the team's facility today at Dove Valley, an indication a trade is near. An NFL source said the St. Louis Rams appear to be the team in line to acquire Lloyd. It would fit as former Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels is the Rams' offensive coordinator. The Rams need help as they are 0-5 and have the NFL's lowest scoring offense. Source: Denver Post
This was where I thought he would end up, McDaniels had him going and Bradford needs a #1 guy. This is the perfect move from the Rams.
If he only plays this year, and the Rams still go nowhere its a solid move just for the fact he should produce and could keep Bradfords confidence from dwindling even more Solid bandaide. And he is going to a system that he led the NFL in reciving yards last year
Wrong, there's the Denver Lloyd, and then there's the 49ers/Bears/Redskins Lloyd :icon_cheesygrin: Don't worry, I sadly know too much about his wild inconsistencies and that he's a moron. Still, the way our passing offense has been so far this year this might be a jump start that's needed. All I'll say though, is whilst we are 0-5, we probably had the hardest opening schedule in the league (Eagles, Giants, Ravens, Redskins & Packers). Once we get past Dallas & NO, then we get into the easier part of the schedule. Just gotta hope performance picks up and 49ers remember who they are, then we're back in business.
