Raiders quarterback Jason Campbell suffered a broken collarbone Sunday against the Browns and will likely be out for the remainder of the season. But Campbell is eying a return in six weeks after undergoing surgery Monday. Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk suggests that the Raiders should look into replacing him with Brett Favre. "Favre played one of the finest games of his career at Oakland, a day after his father died, writes Florio. "Only two days before Favre’s 42nd birthday, legendary Raiders owner Al Davis died, which gives the team a strong amount of emotional appeal." But according to a league source, the Raiders are not considering signing Favre and the possibilities of signing him haven't been discussed. Source: Pro Football Talk: Twitter.com
Of course...........John Madden is now an advisor to the organization and is Favre's biggest fan. Something to think about...........lol
It would be a disgrace to Al Davis to bring Favre to Oakland. Al would not want to bring in a has been. The Raiders need to focus on FA QB's who aren't eligible for the seniors discount at Denny's. smh
I think Madden is pregnant with his child so he needs a job. Sorry no link but I did read that somewhere.
This is all moot now. Screw Farve. I lost all respect for him when he refused to tutor Rodgers. I know he was his eventual replacement but he should have do it to help the TEAM
I never liked favre and never had respect for him. But there is no denying he used to be GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREAT!
really? I never saw it. If he played on a bad team he wouldn't have these records. The record I find interesting is the interception one. Also, like the Tony reference. also all you visitors reading this, sign up and join us. Best site online.
Glad someone knew that was a Tony the Tiger reference lol. I think Favre would still have the records he would just have a TON more INT's
