Rams Release WR Mike Sims-Walker

Discussion in 'St. Louis Rams' started by BigBlueBruiser, Oct 17, 2011.

  1. The Rams released WR Mike Sims-Walker today to make room for newly acquired Brandon Lloyd. Sims-Walker was inactive this week against Green Bay. Sims-Walker was an acquisition that seemed O.K. at the time, but MSW never lived up to his contract and ended his Rams career with a terrible drop filled afternoon against the Redskins in Week 4. Sims-Walker stayed classy in his sign off tweet to Rams fans: Wanna thank the rams organization and fans for the short stay, I am a better player and Man because of yall, best of luck…..#sky.

I think Mark Clayton is coming off the PUP this week no?

Sims-Walker to the Bears? Chicago was showing interest before the season...however, this release has to raise some question marks.

  3. I have to question this guy's commitment. Why in the world could he not produce on arguably one of the worst teams at his position.

That's what I'm saying too...gotta raise some questions as to why the Rams are letting him go...
