Silenced overtook the field when Texans Pro Bowl receiver Andre Johnson went down with a hamstring injury during the Week 4 game against the Steelers at Reliant Stadium. Johnson underwent surgery two weeks ago and told SportsRadio 610 Tuesday morning that he’s ahead of the typical rehabilitation schedule for this prodecure. The Texans (3-3) have lost two in a row without Johnson and would like to see him back on the field soon, but the long-term goal for Johnson is to have this injury put behind him completely. Since he’s unable to run at full speed, it’s unlikely he’ll be able to play during Sunday’s game against the Titans in Tennessee. “They say it could take up to six weeks at the most,†Johnson said. â€But I don’t think it will take me that long.†Johnson says this injury might have stemmed from an old injury he’s dealt with for a long time. Definitely leaves a mark...Johnson's obviously a top-2 in the league as a receiver. He can't be back soon enough for the Texans. Losing him not only hurts Schaub, but Foster, Daniels, Dressen, all the way down the line. Pretty much opens the division up for the Titans to step up and take it from the Texans...lol.
