    this guy is good but not an elite player. I would say if he retird after leaving the Eagles he could be a hall of famer. but ever since he left the Eagles his career has gone downhill

    Sad Rush Limbaugh lost his job for telling the TRUTH. McNabb was and has always been over rated.

    However I respect his professionalism during the tough times the last few years. Stand up guy, he'll be great in TV work.

    No. Maybe if he would have gone toe-to-toe with Mike Shanahan over the way Shanny turned him into his snitch and embarrassed him I might reconsider. If there was a Most Trusting Hall of Fame Donovan would be head of the clbutt.

    All I know if McNabb was never a strong enough leader to get his team over the hump. He also had too many big moments where he choked, most notably in the Super Bowl when he was throwing up and running the hurry up offense with no sense of urgency vs the Patriots. He was never close to being a Hall of Famer and I'd love to see someone's stance on why he should be one. I can use a good laugh.

    Shanny looked like he had a screw loose signing McNabb to that big extension and 3 weeks later wouldn't even talk to him. And McNabb took it like the "true professional that he is". Gaging from The Redskins QB position right now, Shanny ain't got it right yet.
