Jets coach Rex Ryan said if the Chargers had hired him in 2007, he "would have had a couple of rings'' by now. Ryan's brother Rob wants everyone to know how those comments came about according to David Moore of the Dallas Morning News. "I'm glad you asked that question,'' the Cowboys defensive coordinator said. "I've been waiting for that answer. Let me tell you something, that whole comment there is about multiplicity. Rex is constantly using that multiple ring thing, multiple ring this, multiple ring that, multiple ring this. The multiplicity thing is really ring envy,'' Rob Ryan continued. "It's ring envy. His twin brother has two rings, his dad has three rings, he only has one, so you can see the multiplicity thing. It's embarrassing, because it's all about the family. It's a sibling rivalry and Norv got in the way of a sibling rivalry.'' Source: The Redzone
It is just the Ryan's being the Ryan's. They always take shots at each other through the media. I don't see anything wrong with it.
Its extremely hard to get a DC thats already under contract onto your team. Usually have to be be FA's or crapcanned after the HC gets fired. Rob I believe actually got fired in Cleveland after Mangini got canned. Its usually how it works after the new HC is hired. Fires the remaining staff, and brings his guys in IIRC, Rex initially got fired after Harbaugh took over, but then the brought him back
Its hard to work with family... That's why... There probably be a a fight on sidelines before half time.... Every Sunday.... Sent from my HTC EVO
