The Dolphins snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. They allowed Tim Tebow, who was sacked seven times and didn't seem to have a clue for 3 1/2 quarters to author a comeback victory. He helped the Broncos score two touchdowns and then get the winning field goal in overtime. Owner Stephen Ross spent the entire final 5 minutes and overtime standing next to former Gators coach Urban Meyer. That doesn't mean anything short-term because Meyer isn't a coaching candidate today, but add him to the eventual list that will interest Ross. Source: Miami Herald
Why because he was in the stadium today? Puhlease...he gets hired and his first order of business, work a trade for Tebow.
Stories like these are often blown out of proportion but it's not like getting Urban would be a bad thing lol. Hell anything is an upgrade from Sporano.
nah, hes not an idiot. carrol didnt come in and draft mays and trade for leinart and bush. if meyer has a shot as a pro coach (imo hed be a horrible one, just stick to college like saban) he wont be going after his over glorified players from florida. i wouldnt expect him to lobby hard for tebow or alex smith just cause he pulled off some gimmicky bs with them in college. idk why miami would even give him a shot after saban and that fiasco, which also led them to a first overall pick.
Guys, no one, not even on the four letter network is either denying it or does relize why Meyer was there. Anyone remember why TT starting was such a big deal in that particular game? Who was honored at halftime, even though I can't figure out why? Of freaking course he was there.
