Free agent wide receiver will have a workout today in Califorinia in front of NFL teams and media. Danny Picard of CSNNE.com reports Patriots director of player personnel Nick Caserio said in a conference call on Monday that the Patriots will evaluate Owens, just as they would any free agent holding workouts during the season. "I think he's no different than a lot of the other players that have been on the street," said Caserio. "We'll evaluate those players when they're available. We'll look at our situation, and then just make the determination, if that's something that makes sense for us. He's no different than however many other free agents are out there currently."

I guess they figure he's worth the risk.

I wouldn't be surprised if a team signed him...but I would be...lol. Logic says: 38 and major knee surgery with the history that follows...no.

Why not? Even if OC85 isn't producing much, the coverage needed on him distracts the opposing defense from Brady's real targets like Welker. Adding TO would multiply this dynamic to the Pats benefit.

Pretty much anything is an upgrade over 85. Chad is just not getting it. He's not even having the typical "get on the same page" conversations with Brady after mistakes.

  8. Not really news..........the Patriots look at everybody.

It just so happens that it's Terrell Owens.
