Texans Sign S Quinton Demps, WR Trindon Holliday Placed On Waivers

The Texans signed veteran safety Quinton Demps to compete with rookies Shiloh Keo and Brandon Harris for playing time behind new starter Troy Nolan according to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle. Demps, 26, was part of the last preseason roster reduction. Receiver Trindon Holliday, whose primary duty was returning kickoffs and punts, was placed on waivers to make room on the roster.

I didn't know Holliday was still on the roster until he was in the game last week.
