The San Diego Chargers announced that linebacker Larry English has been placed on injured reserve after re-fracturing his foot in Sunday's 27-21 loss to the New York Jets. After appearing in all 16 games as a rookie, English originally fractured his foot during last year's training camp, an injury that limited him to eight games in 2010. English has undergone two surgeries on the foot over the last year. Selected with the 16th overall pick of the 2009 NFL Draft out of Northern Illinois, English has 60 tackles and seven quarterback sacks in 29 career games and is signed through the 2013 season.
