John Czarnecki of FOX Sports reports that although he is torn about his future as an NFL starter, Broncos team president John Elway told coach John Fox that it was time to start Tim Tebow because Kyle Orton was too inconsistent to keep the job. Also, the fans wanted to see Tebow, plus the organization must find out this season whether or not Tebow is worth building the offense around in the future. Source: FOX Sports
meh...it's true. Why not see what they got in Tebow...probably just cfreaking out the total package...lol
Kyle Orton is pretty good. Tim Tebow, if game planned correctly can be pretty good. Brady Quinn is just awful PERIOD. We can't call Tebow inconsistent based on 4 starts. But Kyle Orton will most likely be the starter again by the end of the season and will be in another uniform next season.
I agree we can't determine how consistent Tebow is but last week he was just poor awful and he only got the win because Sparano is a moron and through the graces of God.
Not at all cK. The last 3 minutes of that game is what Tebow NEEDS to succeed. He needs to be rushed, go in the no huddle and have something to come back from. Tebow needs a no huddle shotgun and let him make decisions on the fly. MEGA hard to game plan for but near impossible to game plan against.
If Tim Tebow goes down by 10 or 14 points against most teams in the NFL the last 3 of the game are irrelevant
He did well at the end but as was stated in another thread that game was lost by Sparano for wanting to go for two.
