The Philadelphia Eagles don’t have interest in Albert Haynesworth. Not with his current contract, anyway. Geoff Mosher of the Wilmington News Journal reported that a team source indicated the Eagles will not place a waiver claim for the defensive tackle today, one day after he was placed on waivers by the New England Patriots. Before the Washington Redskins were able to pull off a surprising although minimal trade when they shipped Haynesworth to the Patriots, there was considerable speculation he would land in Philadelphia where he could reunite with line coach Jim Washburn. Haynesworth, of course, played for Haynesworth when he was with the Tennessee Titans.
