Sunday's paid attendance at Cowboys Stadium was announced at 81,510. There was no where near that many spectators when the Seattle Seahawks kicked off at 12:02 CST according to Jon Machota of the Dallas Morning News. It was the Cowboys' second noon start at home this season and their owner believes that had a lot to do with it. "If you looked hard as the game went along, you saw them fill up," Jones said. "Noon games. We had a noon game situation. We haven't played many relative to night and everything else here. The noon games certainly you're going to have delayed seat outings. We did not have, at the end of the day, an inordinate no-show today. We did not have that. We got those numbers as the game was over and it wasn't an issue. "But early, right at kickoff, we all saw the very same thing. But look at all of our noon games and you'll see it." Source: The Redzone
Lol at this excuse...the cowboys have been full for a noon kick off face it Jerry the team is bad and fans aren't going to continue to pay for those over priced seats to see a bad product.
Why are you even a fan? If you don't like the product, as I've said many times... don't watch it, or claim to be a fan of it.
Struck a core? The cowboys have been bad, and just because someone is tired of the same stuff doesn't give anyone the right to question someones fanship.
Exactly, watching Tony Romo screw up is worth the price alone. Watching the rest of the team play like butt liquid is a bonus.
Why does it make him a fair weather fan? I think it shows his passion more. I'm a Mets fan and I bash the team all the time. Well I bash management more so because they put crap on the field and then charge an INSANE amount of money for me to come and watch that piece of crap product play and then COMPLAIN and make excuses why there weren't fans in the seats? Take a look in the mirror and then say what the issue is. Spend less money on a face lift and get a QB that doesn't suck and then if that doesn't work MAYBE a start time might make a difference. If it was Green Bay we could say it was the kick off. It being in Dallas, it's because fans (the sith) are sick of the team putting out a crap product.
And not that it's a GIANT issue but if you want to call out a person on anything, we have the fight club for that! Thanks!
Hush your mouth, I'm not calling out anyone. But for the Cowboys defense.. Go to any thread and when Tony Romo is on, you don't see one Cowboys fan talking crap. But let him throw one bad pass, and it's FREAKING HOMO SUCKS. Quarterback for us is a iffy situation, but our product is far from crapty. You want crapty .. holla at Quincy Carter. At least we're competing for the division every season regardless of what everyone says. Last year was whatever, it's done and over with. Our product that is on the field, is a lot more talent than what most of the league has to offer. Jerry spoiled this fan base with 3 Championships in the 90's. We're not going to draft an Emmitt, Irvin, Aikman just like that again. Our WR's are some of the best the league have to offer. Our TE's are some of the best the league has to offer. Our LB's as a unit are some of the best that the league has to offer. Our RB's especially with what Demarco Murray is doing is becoming some of the best the league have to offer. Our Oline, they're young... but they're getting the job done for the most part. Our Dline is over performing in my eyes. Our DBacks are doing a lot better than I expected them to. We've competed in every game but one, and for the most part of reasonable and non hating football fans out there, we could very well be 7-1 right now. We're the only team to beat the 49ers, as dumb as that sounds considering my expectations for the 49ers at the beginning of the season. We've seen the worst in the early 2000's. Last season was bad, but it ended well. This season is starting off slower in the win column than what they could have... But to say that our on the field product is horrible, you are clearly not a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. The Dallas Cowboys as a team are playing great football minus the Eagles game. And with the QB statement being left unmentioned. I wasn't on the Tony Romo bandwagon when he took over at the helm when everyone else was wanting him to play. I wanted us to stick with Bledsoe. But it was all of these haters that wanted Romo in there to begin with. You got what you wanted. He's earned my respect. He's going to make bad plays, every player does. But I would now rather have Tony Romo than over half of the quarterbacks playing in the NFL.
