Raiders CB Lito Sheppard To Start Against Chargers

    Jerry McDonald of the Contra Costa Times reports that Oakland cornerback Lito Sheppard will start opposite Stanford Routt in Thursday night's game against the Chargers. Both of the Raiders' regular starting cornerbacks will miss the game due to injury. Sheppard has been highly ineffective since coming to Oakland from the Philadelphia Eagles. This will be only his second game as a Raider.
