Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson isn't usually big on touchdown celebrations, but if he scores at Soldier Field today, he has something special planned according to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press. "I got to have something for this one," Johnson said as he sat at his locker this past week. "If I get in the zone, I'll have something." Johnson and others are still haunted by the touchdown that wasn't in last year's opener. Johnson appeared to catch the game-winner with 24 seconds left, but officials ruled he did not complete the process of the catch, and the call was upheld on replay. The Lions lost and went on to their 10th straight sub-.500 season. The Bears won and made the playoffs by the slimmest of margins, and 14 months later, Johnson still can see the play clearly in his mind. "We all here ... everybody felt it was a catch," Johnson said. "We feel like we got screwed over on that one, but it's payback. Payback time." Source: The Redzone
Oh REALLY? :icon_eek: Bring it on! Remember, thats IF you get in the end zone. Just remember though, if the Bears win today, that celebration means NOTHING.
You know when you make quotes like this for websites or papers...you'd think you would show up for that game and not lay a FNing egg. God I hate my team today.
