Reeling from Sunday night's loss to the Patriots, Rex Ryan and the Jets now shoot west to Denver to face the Tim Tebow-led Broncos on Thursday. Tom Brady he's not, but Tebow -- despite his critics -- has marched the Broncos to three wins in four games, frantic affairs that have only amped up the attention around the second-year passer. Denver's offense is an NFL oddity, rushing the ball 55 times against the Chiefs on Sunday. Tebow threw but eight passes -- completing just two (seriously?) -- but Ryan sees beyond the stats. "You can go back and when people ask me about him, I thought he was a great competitor and he is a winner, and that's what he's showing right now," Ryan said Monday. "Are there prettier passers than him? Yeah, absolutely. But again, (we) just (have to) try to find a way to beat him." Source: NFL.com
Good for the Jets to see him focusing on the team at hand instead of telling the team that they'll see the Patriots in the playoffs again. Kind of ironic that Ryan asks the league to beat the Pats, the Steelers do it, the Giants do it, the Jets swing and miss...lol.
Lets be serious for a moment. Tebow has faced one solid team in those four games, and he got blown up by them (Lions). The guy isn't allowed to throw the ball, and when he does, it's no more than five yards (ave. 5.8per/att). The fact is, Tebow hasn't got any faith from his coaches, he's got a 3-1 record but that is a combination of crapty opposition and the mind blowing fact that amazingly, wins are a completely unreliable method of rating a QB's abilities and value to the team and he's going up against a pissed off Jets D. They won't be taking him lightly, the only thing they'll be taking him is his virginity, because the Jets will be putting him on his back more times than a $5 cracktramp.
JETS are about to get TEBOW'ED! AWWWWWWWW YEAH! DIG IT! Who's going to give me a high five? Anybody? Anybody?...Anybody?
