The Baltimore Ravens have officially removed wide receiver David Reed from kickoff duties. "He will not be returning kicks for us on Sunday," Ravens Special Teams Coordinator Jerry Rosburg said on Thursday. "We’re going to have a good kickoff return practice and we’re going to find out who our kickoff returner is going to be for Sunday." Reed has averaged 28.6 yards on 16 returns, but has fumbled three times in the last two games, losing two on kick returns in Sunday's 22-17 loss to the Seattle Seahawk. Reed also drew an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty that pinned the Ravens deep in their own territory. Wide receiver LeQuan Williams and cornerbacks Chris Carr and Lardarius Webb will likely be in the mix for the returning job. Source: Mac's Football Blog
Ravens are playing with fire putting Webb back there and risking an injury to a guy who is playing pretty good right now on defense.
