I give Martz a lot of crap about his dumb play calls so I have to give him a ton of credit for that TE screen to Spaeth...beautiful call.

I have to give Norv Turner credit though, it takes a special level of goobered to call timeout then challenge the play thereby costing yourself two timeouts for a challenge. Even Lovie Smith is jealous of that feat!

Then Lovie decides to fake a punt, lol. But Rivers to the rescue with another pick!

Chargers gained 0 yards in the 4th quarter, love it!

Somebody please explain this to me though, Marty got canned after a 14-2 season and yet Norv continues to cling to his job year after year. WTF?

It was certainly a win the Bears had to earn. San Diego actually did have a good offensive game plan but turnovers did them which I guess is the ongoing theme for the 2011 San Diego Chargers.

Also I find it amusing the refs tried to call a penalty on a #34 for the Bears tonight...yeah pretty sure Walter wasn't on the field but then again he was a bit mischievous so who knows. :icon_twisted:

Because Norv Turner is AJ Smith's yes man.

that situation had more to do with smith and his head coach seeing eye to eye than wins and losses. norv is a good little puppet so he has kept his job much longer.
