For all the Bears fans who are buying into the rumors that Kurt Warner is going to come walking through that door and save the season … well, it’s not going to happen. The dots are easy to connect, given how Warner wrote the beginning chapters of his career playing for Mike Martz, now the offensive coordinator for the Jay Cutler-less Bears. “I know there’s going to be those rumors that I may come out of retirement and reunite with Mike Martz,†Warner told NFL Network Monday. “But, just so everyone out there knows, I’m staying retired. I’m happy with where I’m at and where my life is right now. No question about that.â€

  4. If Favre wasn't interested in the Texans...........can't image him in Chicago.

But facing the Packers at least one more time may be the selling point. But he isn't joining any team.

Ok people. Favre is done. Give it up.

Theyre gonna have to go to a basic no name. JP Losman or something. Bulger said he's not interested too. Maybe a former Mike Martz guy? I don't blame Warner for not wanting in on this though. They'd just dump him when the playoffs start.

I read a report that they are talking with Jeff Garthia... although he hasn't played in two years or something along those lines.

Garcia worked out for Houston, I had not heard anything about the Bears contacting him.
