The NFL has finalized its schedule for Week 13 and has moved a big NFC matchup between Detroit and New Orleans to prime time. It had been previously announced that the originally-scheduled prime time game between the Colts and Patriots would not remain in that time slot, and the NFL decided to slide the Lions and Saints into the 8:20 p.m. (et) spot for NBC on December 4. Both teams are currently 7-3, but the Saints lead the NFC South and the Lions are three games behind undefeated Green Bay in the NFC North. The Colts and Patriots will be played at 1 p.m. (et) on December 4. The game between Baltimore and Cleveland has been moved to 4:05 p.m. (et), while the Denver-Minnesota contest will now be played at 1 p.m. (et). The NFL is utilizing its "flexible scheduling" on Sundays from Weeks 10 through 15 and again in Week 17 to ensure quality matchups in all time slots, also giving teams a chance to play their way onto the prime time stage. I'll be tuned in for this one!!! Probably woulda been tuned in for that Pats/Colts snorefest too...lol
But for real I was kinda bummed when they moved the Pats game out but I'll live. I'd rather have a good game in primetime. I wish Peyton was good to go though. Nothing beats a good Colts Pats game in primetime with Brady vs. Manning.
