Looking back with 20/20 hindsight on his career, Albert Haynesworth said Wednesday, he wishes he could have stayed a Tennessee Titan. In a conference call with Tennessee media, as his new team, the Tampa Bay Bucs, prepare to face the Titans, Haynesworth said the "grass isn't always greener" as he found out in Washington and New England. “Guys have definitely got to be careful of that,†Haynesworth said in his conference call. “Before you go and you think that the grass is going to be greener on the other side, look back at where you played your ball at and see if you maybe you can work something out with them.†Haynesworth got a $100 million payday in part because the Titans never made a formal offer to him once he hit free agency. A $40 million offer with $28 million in guarantees never materialized formally before free agency and that "hurt a little bit." Source: National Football Post
wow. That title is a tad misleading huh? He's saying he shouldn't have left Tennessee to go to Washington, not he wishes he was still playing there.
I bet he still is loving that money he got from the 100 Mill contract though. How much guaranteed money did he get?
