Drew Rosenhaus, the agent for free agent wide receiver Terrell Owens, tells ESPN's Adam Schefter that there is a team that is "very interested" in signing Owens. Rosenhaus declined to name the team that was interested in his client. Owens, who turns 38 a week from next Wednesday, tore his ACL during the lockout and worked out for NFL Network and ESPN cameras last month in Calabasas, California. Owens ranks fifth all-time with 1,078 receptions, and his 15,934 receiving yards and 153 receiving touchdowns rank second. Last season, Owens caught 72 passes for 983 yards and nine touchdowns in 14 games with the Cincinnati Bengals, his third team in three years. Source: Mac's Football Blog
Any thoughts on who it could be? Or do you guys think it is just smoke & mirrors? If I had to guess maybe a team like the 49ers maybe, or even the Ravens? Wild guesses.. lol
freaking rosenhaus has been saying for months that teams are interested in t.o. this is just agent talk. a team would have to be pretty desperate at wr to need t.o. or moss that badly.
now that i think about it, this smells like it could involve the raiders ............ their wr corps is pretty banged up and the raiders obviously feel like they are close with what they did with the palmer move.
Palmer hated Owens and Ocho and the antics that came with... I'm calling bullcrap, unless he's been practicing QB, and then I'd say it's the Texans.
arena league offered him but i didn't even hear of a CFL team that wanted him ............... that's pretty sad.
why make an offer you know won't be accepted? Terrell is too good for any of that jazz. As said, Can't wait to see him on a football field soon. NFL football field.
